Christmas came and went so quickly. I made about a million cookies this season.

Welcome to my blog! I must admit I was adamantly against blogging and the whole "ipod" culture that goes along with it. Nevertheless, I finally decided that the easiest way to share my photography and life with people, is through a blog. So this is for all you "unfortunate" friends and family who do not live in Texas!
Photography gives me an excuse to spend time outside and just relax. It’s comforting to walk through a forest so many times that one knows each and every turn, tree, and sound, but more exciting is discovering something new or unusual when you least expect it. This is why carrying a camera at all times is a necessity!

I like your blog and came upon it by chance. Your pictures are really nice and the explanation is to the point. I have put it on my favorites. It's so nice to read and see other places especially the wild life. I come from South Africa where we are also blessed with beautiful animals and places of interest. Anyway it is refreshing to visit. Keep it up.
