After 12 months of lusting after Canon's 400mm 5/6 L lens, I finally broke down and bought one! I am eagerly looking forward to photographing wildlife with this heavy piece of equipment.

Welcome to my blog! I must admit I was adamantly against blogging and the whole "ipod" culture that goes along with it. Nevertheless, I finally decided that the easiest way to share my photography and life with people, is through a blog. So this is for all you "unfortunate" friends and family who do not live in Texas!
Photography gives me an excuse to spend time outside and just relax. It’s comforting to walk through a forest so many times that one knows each and every turn, tree, and sound, but more exciting is discovering something new or unusual when you least expect it. This is why carrying a camera at all times is a necessity!
